How to read these snapshots

Each snapshot is a factual, dated record — not a ranking, not a claim that the businesses named are "the best," and not an endorsement by Cited. Businesses are named nominatively because one AI research pass surfaced them on the date shown; the order within a snapshot reflects only how often each recurred across independent sources.

AI answers are sampled and non-deterministic, so every snapshot is a sample taken on a single date, and each market's page states how many research passes it records. A business not appearing means only that those passes didn't surface it — never that it's unqualified. Always confirm licensing, insurance, and current reviews before hiring. The only paid placement anywhere on Cited is a clearly-labeled featured listing.

We currently publish 46, one per covered trade and metro, and add more as we run new passes.

Do these snapshots rank the businesses?

No. Cited doesn't rank or endorse businesses. Within a snapshot the order reflects only how often each business recurred across independent reviews, directories, and best-of lists on that date — not a Cited judgment. AI answers are sampled and non-deterministic, so a different assistant, or the same one next week, may name a different set.

My business isn’t listed — how do I show up?
